Exoline Aqua Stop F+ is ideal for securing strong and waterproof tile adhesion in both old and new buildings, including ceramic and stone tile coverings, stone slabs, and mosaics (paper- or fiberglass-backed), as well as porcelain mosaics. It is suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications on floors, walls, and ceilings, including heated floor structures and ventilated stone facades.
With excellent bonding strength and water resistance, it ensures durable adhesion for applications such as heated floor systems, natural stone with high dimensional stability, and split stone cladding on facades.
It effectively adheres to aged, deteriorated, or uneven surfaces, providing a reliable solution for tile installation even in high-moisture environments. It can be applied from 5 mm thickness, but for optimal adhesion and waterproofing, at least 2 cm is recommended. For heavy-duty applications, such as areas exposed to significant mechanical stress, a reinforced substrate is necessary to ensure long-term performance.
Exoline® Aqua Stop F+ is also ideal for renovation work, as it adheres easily to aged, damaged or uneven substrates, whether old or cracked. This makes it a reliable choice for cost-effective and quick installations where demolition is avoided.
Processing: Gradually add the contents of the bucket to the prescribed amount of clean mixing water while stirring continuously. Use a clean mechanical mixer with a maximum speed of 600 rpm to ensure a lump-free, homogeneous mixture within at least 5–6 minutes. The adhesive mortar can be mixed manually or with a mixing machine. In case of accidental overdosage of mixing water, the mixture may only be thickened with additional dry material from the original packaging. Only prepare as much material as can be applied within 2 hours, depending on ambient temperature. For consistency and efficiency, it is recommended to mix multiple bags at once. During application, cleanliness must be maintained at all times.
Mixing: Use a low-speed concrete mixer with a 35°-tilted drum.
Surface Preparation: Remove loose materials, salt deposits, weak coatings, and deepen joints.
Application: Apply the adhesive in at least two steps: first, a thin contact layer (bonding layer) should be combed onto the substrate using a notched trowel, followed by a thicker adhesive layer suitable for embedding the tiles. Lay the tiles once the initial layer has bonded uniformly. Press and align tiles with consistent pressure; ensure a minimum total adhesive thickness of 2 cm for optimal waterproofing and bond strength.
Application Temperature: Recommended temperature: +5°C to +25°C.
