Exoline Protector SG-55 is a heavy-duty concrete admixture developed exclusively for industrial use, ideal for large-scale construction projects such as underground car parks, tunnels, industrial floors, logistics halls, bridges, water and chemical storage tanks and other heavy-duty outdoor or indoor concrete structures.
Its highly hydrophobic and breathable formulation provides excellent resistance to water, frost, acid, alkali and oil, while also providing long-term protection against corrosion of reinforcing steel. It can be used in precast concrete, base plates, beams, slabs, piers, stairs and other structures subject to industrial loads.
Effectively repairs cracked, aged or structurally weakened industrial concrete surfaces such as garage floors, ramps, walkways. It can be used from a layer thickness of 5 mm, but a minimum of 2 cm is required to ensure complete waterproofing, while a minimum reinforced layer of 15 cm is required for high dynamic loads.
Also suitable as a sub-layer under industrial floors, especially where moisture control, thermal insulation and chemical resistance are important. When mixed with fine-grained sand, it can be applied from 0,5 mm and can also be used as an industrial smoothing layer under subfloor levelling. This makes Exoline Protector SG-55 a complex, concentrated solution for industrial concrete protection and durability, where extreme stress and long life are the basic requirements.
Processing: Gradually add the contents of the bag to the prescribed amount of clean mixing water while stirring continuously. Use a clean mechanical mixer with a maximum speed of 600 rpm to ensure a lump-free, homogeneous mixture within at least 5–6 minutes. The mortar can be mixed manually or with a mixing machine. In case of accidental overdosage of mixing water, the mixture may only be thickened with additional dry material from the original packaging. Only prepare as much material as can be applied within 2 hours, depending on ambient temperature. For consistency and efficiency, it is recommended to mix multiple bags at once. During application, cleanliness must be maintained at all times.
Mixing: Use a low-speed concrete mixer with a 35°-tilted drum.
Surface Preparation: Remove loose materials, salt deposits, weak coatings, and deepen joints. Clean surfaces at least 30 cm above the area affected by moisture.
Application: Layering - Apply in at least two layers - a sprayed bonding layer followed by a rougher coat. Plaster Application - Apply the second layer once the first has hardened. Finishing - Smooth with a wooden float; min. 2 cm thick.
Application Temperature: Recommended temperature: +5°C to +25°C. Above 25°C, mist the plaster every 2-3 hours for several days.
